"Food and feeding the world": this is the topic the recently launched ExpoMilano 2015 goes about.
Pavillion "Wine. A taste of Italy" opened last May 23rd and hosts an important collection of
Italy's most significant spirit: Grappa.
Thanks to the National Institute for Grappa, Assodistil and VeronaFiere, 70 different bottles, manufactured by 21 distilleries, including the Poli Distillery, will be on display.
As of June, each Friday from 2 to 3:30 pm, tasting classes will be offered to the public by professional sommeliers: these classes aim not only to let people understand the different scents and aromas one can perceive when it comes to Grappa, but also to let them know about the history of each producer, who has passed his knowledge and skills from generation to generation.
