Following an investigation implemented by the Corpo Forestale dello Stato, 25 ginseng-, rose- and bamboo-based liquers manifactured in China and passed off as Grappa were confiscated.
Grappa is a brandy solely obtained from the distillation of italian grape marc on italian territory.
The denomination "Grappa" is reserved to those products fulfilling these requirements.
